Allows you to change default currency rates XML source of Prestashop. You can select Yahoo Finance or ECB (Euro Central Bank) or TCMB (Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey) as a new source. In additon please contact us if you need another data feed like central bank of your country.
Prestashop has an in-build API system for currency data feed to update currencies. Some stores in various countries need to use different exchange rates source like ECB due to the exchange rates on Prestashop API has mismatches with their local rates.
This module allows you change it. Currently we integrated 3 exchange data feed service:
- Yahoo Finance API (Updates frequently )
- ECB European Central Bank (Updates daily)
- TCMB Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (updates 6 times in a day working hours)
Sure we can add other data sources which you need.
That's not all the features. This module can update rates auto periodically, without set a cron task or even click update button.
